We offer a variety of training programs based on the needs of you and your dog. The facilities include a pond complete with natural brush, islands, and other obstacles; a well-groomed bird garden for work on land training; and accomodations in outdoor sheltered kennels. Spaniel and Retriever Summer Puppy College
This program runs from April to September in increments of one month. Training includes basic obedience (name recognition, here, sit, stay, kennel, no jumping, and no barking) as well as elementary retrieving and field work. Puppies must be at least 6 months old to begin this class.
Spaniel and Retriever "Tune-Up" School
Geared toward previously trained dogs, this program is designed to fine tune your dog before the season begins. This includes a refresher course in obedience, retrieving exercises, and field work.
All Breed Obedience Training
If you have a house dog or family pet who just needs some manners and obedience, this program offers training in all aspects of Canine Good Citizenship including here, heal, sit, stay, kennel, no jumping, and no barking.
Basic Through Intermediate Retriver Training
This course encompasses basic obedience training as well as introduction to water, guns, birds, and mastering of single marked retrieves on land and water.
Boarding is available in kennels under a shelter complete with dog houses as well as outdoors under a shed with an enclosed dog house. Dogs are provided with daily attention and time in the dog yard outside. All dogs, whether they are in for training or not, are maintained in a structured environment and so good manners are learned and reinforced daily.
